Let your child unlock the keys of Mother Nature!
NatureKeepers is a low-impact program that allows kids to learn more about the environment from the safety of your school or playcenter (preferably using an outside space).
Each seminar combines a series of fun and informative activities to allow kids to explore important environmental issues – all in a positive and empowering light. NatureKeepers & miNi-atureKeepersThe regular 2-hour NatureKeepers seminars offer kids aged between 6-10:
* Hands-on learning about various facets of the environment * The opportunity to apply classroom lessons into a real-life natural context * Outdoor playtime and exercise in a controlled and safe environment * An ability to link nature with art, crafts, music, maths, science and social studies – combining all disciplines in just one seminar.
The 1-hour miNi-atureKeepers seminars offer toddlers and small children aged between 3-5:
* Simple, hands-on and fun environmental learning * Outdoor playtime and exercise in a controlled and safe environment * The ability to link nature with art, crafts and music
There are 8 themes to choose from - with an option to run individual seminars, or complete the full 8 seminars over a semester. Barefootprint’s NatureKeepers ClubIf the children complete the full 8 seminars, they are entitled to join Barefootprint’s NatureKeepers Club – giving kids the opportunity to join future “alumni” NatureKeeping playdates and campouts, as well as receive regular newsletters and environmental educational games.
